Partners and Donors
NPWJ’s international criminal justice strategy is implemented through multiple-donor and multi-regional projects. NPWJ's partners for 2009-2010 are Justice Without Frontiers (Lebanon), Entishar Charity Society (Sudan) and the Kawakibi Democracy Transition Center (KADEM). Past partners include Action Contre Impunité pour la Droits de l’Homme (Democratic Republic of Congo); Amsterdam Centre for International Law (The Netherlands); International Justice Tribune (France); Manifesto 99 (Sierra Leone); Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT, Pakistan); the Sisters’ Arab Forum (Yemen); and others, also involving civil society, parliament, government and inter-governmental partners.
Current funding is generously provided by the European Union and the Government of Canada. Additional co-funding is being sought from other donors. Past donors include the Open Society Institute, the Governments of Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany and the United Kingdom, the Special Court for Sierra Leone and the Commonwealth Secretariat.
